Guess it is time to update

Sorry about the delay. The big kids have been with their dad and aside from over doing it at a birthday party for Jeremy the home front has been pretty quiet - busy but quiet.

I am too old and I got another reminder bright and early Sunday morning. Too much wine - not enough food or sleep makes for a long recovery period. Once a year I am reminded why I don't like drinking too much. It took me all of Sunday to recover and I am just now having a glass of wine. Those that know me - now realize how bad I was to go without wine for 4 days. :)

Well enough about that - the kids are all doing well in school. Samantha seems to be enjoying it - she has been doing PT and homework. Daniel's X-box had a problem so he has been without it for 2 weeks so he has actually been getting out and hanging in person with his friends.

Recently we got some really exciting news! Samantha's Make-a-wish came thru - very last minute. We finally got all the details down and will be getting our packet tomorrow. Samantha, Daniel, Isabella, Chris and I will be flying out of Denver this Sunday at noon to State College, PA to attend a Jonas Brother concert (that's right another JB concert - but this time I won't be driving and should be able to have a glass of wine!) and then Samantha and 2 guests will be escorted back stage to meet all 3 Jonas Brothers! Samantha is on cloud nine!! ten even!! We went out today to get a dress for the special occasion.

While this is very exciting for Sam - it means that I will have an extremely busy couple of weeks ( like it wasn't already). Here is the plan - Jeremy and I have dinner tomorrow night with the Kapoor family then we leave about 1 pm on Friday for Winter Park for Ajay and Gina's Wedding. There is a dinner Friday night - the wedding on Saturday - another simple brunch on Sunday morning. We may have to leave Winter Park a bit early on Sunday because we need to be back at the house by noon. The limo will be by to pick us all up and take us to the airport where we will fly out to PA. The step parents would be able to go but we would have had to buy their airfare and on short notice that was not cheap. Samantha will only have eyes for the JBros anyway and only 4 can go back to actually meet them so Jeremy or Sharmi would not be able to see the meet either. Both elected to hold down the fort in Denver.

The concert is on Tuesday evening and then we fly back to Denver on Wednesday. Thursday Samantha has her full day of scans and then if that is all ok I will be flying out again but this time to Seattle to see Dianna! Yeah! We have been planning this for a while and I had just bought the plane ticket a couple days before all the Make-a-wish stuff came up. The good news is that my week of jet setting will end with a relaxing visit and a massage.

I don't know about anyone else - but I am not going to move in October - no events are planned (other than Halloween) and I am not going anywhere unless I can get there via my bike!!!

I don't think that is realistic - but I can dream!

I will take as many pictures as I can over the next week and post as often as I can.
